TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Foxconn (鴻海) will unveil its new electric vehicle Model A during Hon Hai Tech Day (HHTD 25, 鴻海科技日) Nov. 21-22. The company announced plans Tuesday (Nov. 18) to showcase intelligent manufacturing production lines during the two-day tech event.
HHTD 25 features invitation-only format on day one with over 2,000 guests expected. The second day opens to public with nearly 10,000 registered attendees. The event focuses on smart manufacturing, smart electric vehicles, and smart cities platforms.
Foxconn spokesperson Wu Chun-i (巫俊毅) said the company will display AI server cabinet vertical integration technology. Foxconn plans to reveal OpenAI collaboration details during the event. The company allocated 70% to 80% of computing power at Kaohsiung's Asia New Bay Area (亞灣) AI supercomputing data center.
Industry analysts identify the event as Taiwan's largest recent NVIDIA Cloud Partner construction. Analysts expect NVIDIA, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC, 台積電), and National Science and Technology Council (國科會) , Taiwan's science ministry, to utilize the computing power.
