TAIPEI (TVBS News) — AeiROBOT, a South Korean startup, aims to revolutionize industries like manufacturing and shipbuilding with its humanoid robot, Alice. The company unveiled its innovative robot at COMPUTEX on Tuesday (May 20), showcasing Alice's capabilities, which leverage Nvidia AI modules for advanced simulations.

AeiROBOT officials explained that engineers have integrated Nvidia AI modules, such as GR00T and Isaac Sim, to enable Alice to perform complex tasks. This integration significantly reduces the time needed to develop human-like motions and interactions. NVIDIA's Cosmos platform facilitates data input and generation of robot data and simulates various industrial tasks, optimizing Alice's performance in real-world applications.

The company noted that Alice's development represents a proof of concept and experimental phase using NVIDIA technology. These phases have enabled Alice to perform actual work in factories, demonstrating its potential to enhance productivity in targeted industries. The name Alice draws its inspiration from Artificial, Learning, Intelligence, Robot for Collaboration and Evolution, embodying the robot's innovative design and purpose.

"COMPUTEX offers extensive testing and uptime assessments to ensure Alice's reliability and efficiency," an AeiROBOT spokesperson said. "We expect that Alice can be deployed in various manufacturing industries to do real work and transform future manufacturing sectors with NVIDIA's products." ◼
