TAICHUNG (TVBS News) — The Taichung City Government Information Bureau announced on Friday (Dec. 6) a star-studded lineup for its New Year's Eve concert, including popular rapper Osn (高爾宣), idol group Ozone, and the local band GX.
The Taichung City Government Information Bureau highlighted the park as the largest outdoor concert venue in Taiwan, drawing a record crowd of 240,000 people last year. This year's concert will light up the night at Central Park (中央公園) on Dec. 31.
The bureau also noted that the annual event has topped online viewership charts for four consecutive years, underscoring its popularity and success.
This year's concert will kick off at 6 p.m. and feature artists such as Whee In (輝人), Accusefive (告五人), W0LF(S) (五堅情), 911 (玖壹壹), Osn (高爾宣), GX, and Ozone. The bureau plans to announce additional performers soon, promising an exciting lineup for attendees and viewers alike.
The bureau also emphasized Taichung's appeal as a livable city, noting its cultural, climatic, and lifestyle attractions. The city's population recently grew to 2.85 million, reflecting its increasing allure.
