TAICHUNG (TVBS News) — Wuling Farm (武陵農場), a popular cherry blossom viewing destination in Taiwan, will begin its traffic control period earlier for the 2025 cherry blossom season. Officials announced Friday (Dec. 6) that the control will start on Feb. 8 and end on Feb. 23, extending the period to 16 days to facilitate smoother operations and visitor planning.
Situated at an altitude exceeding 1,750 meters, Wuling Farm attracts thousands of visitors annually. In past years, the farm limited daily entries to 6,000 visitors during the cherry blossom season. This year, organizers decided to extend the traffic control period from the originally planned 14 days, starting Feb. 10, to ensure better crowd management and enhance the visitor experience.
Wuling Farm encourages visitors to use electronic tickets for entry during non-control periods. By doing so, guests can help disperse crowds and take advantage of the farm's 24-hour ticket booth operations. This allows for early entry planning, which can reduce congestion during peak times. The farm's decision to adjust the control period aims to improve the overall visitor experience, allowing for more flexible travel arrangements. As cherry blossom season approaches, visitors should consider planning their trips around these new dates to make the most of their visit.
